SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Chula Vista West

Clean venue, and parking lot and surrounding area are well lit at night. Building is old but it seems to have been recently renovated. Rooms were clean and comfy. We had a King size bed. Bathroom were clean. Big screen TV with free cable. Free slow Internet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a Mexican restaurant and a 7-Eleven at few feet away. Hotel offers early Continental breakfast 6am-9am. Hotel is in a heavy traffic street so sometimes it's noisy. I felt safe walking outside at night.

Rooms were a bit outdated but had all the basic amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and TV etc. Shower was high pressure and felt amazing. Bed was a little squeaky but overall comfortable but I would've preferred better a heavier/nicer comforter especially since it was cold. Service was overall acceptable although I had an incident with an extremely rude front desk clerk for asking for a coffee packet. Location is great and worked for my purpose. I was able to quickly get an Uber to get around.

Not enough parking spaces, had a tesla think they were good enough to take up 2 spaces when trying to park our car. There was no parking availavle until a motorcyclist pulled out of a spot and we had to quickly get in before another car came around the corner. The inside of the room and bathroom was clean decent. Clean sheets and blankets, which is one of the main concerns. There's a hairdryer. iron and iron board in the room (dont have to ask at front desk). The only problem really was the parking space.

Nice place to stay. Decent amount of parking, the rooms are clean. Some things in the rooms should be updated/renovated. I stayed in a double Queen and the chair/ottoman had weird stains on it. The restroom door was also pretty water damaged /warped. It’s mostly just aesthetic things, but functionally perfect. The bed was a bit firm but comfortable, and each bed has 4 pillows which was nice. I would stay here again if I’m in the area

Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice big flat screen TV. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs and link sausages and yogurt and toast. Apple and orange juices. Front desk staff was friendly.

The rooms are remodeled. Staff was friendly. There are restaurants, Costco, and Walmart within 10 minutes. We were 25 minutes from the border. The parking lot was safe. Breakfast was decent, waffles, cereal, breads, some fruit, juice, coffee, and other options

Well its actually the quality inn in Chula vista..I usually stay in the Hilton or places like that the rooms are not New but has comfortable beds,nice size fridge,modern desk,ect..super clean I was expecting a old musky smell because of the age of the place but no bad smells it smelled fresh and clean..but this is a really nice quiet environment the staff is friendly and they make sure you have everything you need the rooms was clean the cleaning staff was happy friendly and hard workers,the parking lot is clean..The people in the office watch over the parking lot at night and didn't have to worry about my vehicle in the parking lot.. it had great lighting outside..i had the pleasure of meeting the maintenance guy he was friendly always working hard to keep the grounds clean very helpful with directions and places to go and eat good food..the swimming pool was clean..breakfast was great little of everything and some healthy substitutes if you dont like anything big i would definitely stay here again..what makes it a great place it the friendly service from the staff and cleanliness

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating of my requests. The taco place right next door is spectacular and inexpensive, so there's good food nearby. If I need to stay in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
